A team from Nationwide have made two more visits in June and July to the Northampton Pregnancy Matters™ House to help renovate the house.
They did a fantastic job over the two days – here’s what they did:
- Donated lots of items for babies and young children – pushchair, walkers, clothes, toys and more
- Painted the hallway a lemon colour to brighen it up
- Painted the garden fence
- Assembled a children’s bench for the garden
- Painted the living room and brought colour-coordinated throws, cushions and ornaments to decorate the room
- Odd jobs around the house
- Improved the look and layout of the office
This work builds on their decorating and improvement work done earlier this year, which was also reported by the Northampton Chronicle & Echo here.
Ellen Rufus, Pregnancy Matters™ Support Worker for the Northampton House, said:
“A big thank you to this wonderful team from Nationwide. You did an amazing job. The girls love the new look and all your donations. I cannot sing your praises enough!”
So well done and such a great cause .
