Life is a UK charity for women facing the unexpected. Here on our impact page, you can discover how your support for Life is making a difference. Thanks for being a part of this.
Pregnancy tests requested
Imagine having a friend who's with you from day one. In September, 52 women a day asked for a free pregnancy test. This enabled women to reach out early for support and find someone to walk with them on their pregnancy journey.
People asking for counselling
This September, 278 people found a place to talk safely and be heard through free counselling and skilled listening.
Mums and babies housed
This September, 170 mums and babies found a place of safety and sanctuary to live, who would otherwise be homeless, unsupported, or at risk.
Mums and babies moving on
This September, 6 mums and their babies were ready to move on to independent living, each one a unique story of success.
Making motherhood possible
This September, an estimated 43 women had the space and support to freely choose motherhood when they may have previously felt this was not an option for them.
"I don’t know where I would be now without Life Charity, they have given me a fresh start and the confidence to be the best mum I can be"
"Thank you for the call every time I speak to you I'm reassured more and more, so thanks for that."
A mum and baby were supported to attend a local library session. Baby had a wonderful time and mum commented that she "enjoyed it too... something different to do. We'd like to carry on coming every week".
"I'm so glad my mum met Nuala [Life co-founder] all those years ago. Now I have children of my own."
