Pregnancy tests requested
In October, November, and December 2023, 4,118 women asked us for a free pregnancy test. That's 45 every day! By offering free pregnancy tests, we are accompanying and helping women from the very first moment of their pregnancy journey.
People using our listening service
In October, November, and December, 978 people used our free pregnancy listening service. Whatever their emotions - from fear to joy, from uncertainty to courage - we were there to provide support by listening to their individual situation and helping them along their pregnancy journey. The chart shows clients' presenting needs. 'Other' includes contraception, fertility, and practical support.
Mums with babies moving in
We house mums and their babies who would otherwise be homeless, unsupported, or at risk. We can be a place of safety and sanctuary for them. Since October, we have welcomed 22 new mums along with their babies into our Life Houses.
Mums with babies moving on
Whenever a mum and baby move out of our Houses to independent living, that's a success story. Since October, 20 mums along with their babies have moved out of our Houses and onto new lives.
Christmas day with Life Babies!
This quarter we had five new babies born in our Life Houses and 22 new mums moved in. This is the difference your support makes. Here are some of the Life Babies enjoying Christmas, safe and sound in Life Houses thanks to you.

Babies born in Life Houses Oct-Dec 2023
In October to December, there were five little miracles born in Life Houses: one in October, three in November, and one in December. Our Support Workers were on hand to help the Life mums with the birth and getting used to being a mum. Having a community of support is so important at such a significant life transformation, and having that support helps make it a positive transition.
